Frequently asked questions

Questions, answered.

The most common questions about working with EVENORE, the way we build, search and AI visibility, and what happens after launch.

Working with EVENORE

  • What does EVENORE do?

EVENORE designs and builds premium WordPress websites: sites, stores, and learning platforms. The work is organized into four pillars: Build, Optimize, Maintain, and Brand. Every site we ship is engineered for speed, search, and the next decade of AI-driven discovery.

  • Who do you work with?

Small businesses, service businesses, e-commerce brands, online education and LMS businesses, and founders who want a website that reads as expensive and performs as fast. Most clients have outgrown DIY builders and want a studio that takes design and speed seriously.

  • Why WordPress, specifically?

WordPress runs roughly 40% of the web. It is open-source, owned by you, and gives you full control over content, design, and search visibility.

We pair it with Astra (a lean theme), Spectra Pro for block-based sections, and a small set of trusted plugins. Then we write custom HTML and CSS where pixels matter. The result is the flexibility of WordPress without the bloat most agencies ship.

  • What makes EVENORE different from other WordPress studios?

Specifics, not slogans. We use about three plugins where most studios use twelve. We hand-code sections where pixel precision matters, not drag-and-drop them. We enforce a performance budget before launch, not after. Schema and structured data ship on day one, not in a follow-up engagement.

We also run our own brands (Éclataur and Fragror), so you can see the work, live, before deciding.

Pricing and engagement

  • How much does a project cost?

It depends on scope. A WordPress design project, a WooCommerce store, an LMS, and a brand engagement sit at different price points. Most projects fall between US$5,000 and US$40,000+. Maintenance and support plans are billed separately.

When you submit an inquiry, you’ll select a budget range so we can quickly confirm whether we’re a fit.

  • Why don’t you publish prices?

Two reasons. First, every project is scoped to the client’s specific goals and content, so a list price would either be misleading or unhelpful. Second, our inquiry form has a budget selector that does the same job a price page would do, in less time. Once we know your goal, audience, and budget, a precise quote takes one call.

  • Do you require a deposit?

Yes. Project work begins after a signed Service Agreement and a deposit. The remaining balance is billed at agreed milestones and on final delivery. Maintenance plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Specific payment terms are set out in your Service Agreement.

  • How long does a typical project take?

A standard WordPress design project runs 8 to 10 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope, content readiness, and revision rounds. Stores and LMS projects often run 10 to 16 weeks. Brand projects vary based on the deliverables. Each engagement gets a written timeline in the Service Agreement.

  • What happens after I submit an inquiry?

You’ll get a reply within one business day. If we’re a fit, we’ll book a discovery call (no charge). On that call we go through your goals, audience, and scope.

If both sides want to move forward, we’ll send a proposal and Service Agreement within a few days. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so and point you somewhere useful.

How we build

  • Do you use page builders or write custom code?

Both, deliberately. We use Spectra Pro for sections that benefit from a block-based system (faster builds, easier client edits after launch). We write custom HTML and CSS for hero sections, complex layouts, and anywhere pixel precision matters.

We never build with heavy drag-and-drop builders that ship megabytes of unused code to the browser.

  • How many plugins do you install?

Under ten. Every plugin is a performance cost and a security surface, so we add one only when it earns its place. The standard set covers SEO, schema, forms, email delivery, caching, and custom snippets. If a feature can be solved with code, we write code. If it can be solved with a setting, we change the setting.

  • Will my site look like a template?

No. Templates are designed for an average use case, which means they look like everyone else. Your site is designed for your business: your audience, your offer, your brand. We build on a lean theme as a foundation, but the design, type, color, layout, and code are yours.

  • Can you migrate my existing WordPress site?

Yes. We can migrate content, posts, products, customers, and SEO settings. Migration includes URL redirects, schema preservation, and a pre-launch crawl to catch broken links. The new site is built on a temporary subdomain, tested in full, then the DNS is cut over only after your approval.

  • Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. Every site we build is editable from the WordPress dashboard: pages, blog posts, products, courses, images, and basic layouts. We hand over a short walkthrough video at launch covering the edits you’ll make most often. For deeper changes, our maintenance plans cover ongoing development.

Search, AI, and performance

  • What is AEO?

AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization. It’s the practice of structuring your content so that AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude can read it cleanly, cite it accurately, and surface it in their answers.

Direct-answer paragraphs, FAQ schema, clean entity definitions, and well-marked authorship all contribute. AEO is one of the three search disciplines we ship on every site.

  • What is GEO?

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. It’s a sibling to AEO, focused on making sure AI models understand your business as an entity: who you are, what you do, where you operate, why you matter. Strong schema, consistent name-address-phone information, and clear authorship signals all play a role.

  • Will my site rank on Google?

That depends on your market, content, and competition. Our build practices give you a strong foundation: clean semantic markup, structured data, sitemap, image SEO, fast load times, mobile responsiveness, and Search Console verification on launch day.

Rankings improve with consistent content and time. We never promise a specific position or traffic number.

  • Will my site show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude?

That depends on how often AI systems find content on your site that’s relevant to a user’s question. We give you the technical foundation: structured data, FAQ schema, llms.txt at the site root, robots.txt configured to allow AI crawlers, clean entity definitions, and direct-answer content patterns.

AI visibility builds over time, just like search rankings.

  • How fast will my site be?

Our performance budget is non-negotiable: PageSpeed Performance 95+ on mobile, 98+ on desktop, Largest Contentful Paint under 1.5 seconds, Cumulative Layout Shift under 0.05. The homepage and every service page meet these targets at launch and are designed to hold them indefinitely.

After launch

  • Do you offer maintenance plans?

Yes. Maintenance covers updates, security monitoring, daily backups, performance checks, and a defined number of support hours each month. Plans are sized to the site’s complexity and traffic. See the Maintain page for what each plan includes.

  • Who hosts the site?

We typically build on and recommend Hostinger because it pairs well with our performance and price targets. If you have an existing host you’d rather stay with, we can usually work with it.

Hosting is contracted between you and the provider directly: you own the account and pay them, not us.

  • Do I own the work when it’s done?

Yes. On final payment, ownership of work specifically commissioned for your project transfers to you: the custom child theme, custom designs, and brand assets where applicable. Third-party components (themes, plugins, fonts) remain governed by their own licenses, which you maintain after handover. Full ownership terms live in the Service Agreement.
