Build · Pillar 01

Websites, engineered properly.

Custom WordPress and Astro sites, WooCommerce stores, learning platforms, and web applications, built from hand-coded foundations, not template flips. Performance, search, and brand fidelity built in from day one.

What we build

Five platforms. One studio standard.

01 / WORDPRESS

WordPress sites.

Custom WordPress sites built on hand-coded child themes. Designed around the brand, engineered for the visitor, never assembled from page builder kits.

  • Custom Astra child themes
  • Hand-coded section templates
  • Schema and structured data
  • Core Web Vitals tuning at launch

02 / ASTRO

Astro sites.

Static-first builds for sites where speed is the brand. Hand-coded components, near-zero JavaScript, and pages that ship as pure HTML, fast by architecture, not by optimization.

  • Hand-coded Astro components
  • Static output, near-zero JS
  • Performance budgets from day one
  • Schema and structured data

03 / STORES

WooCommerce stores.

E-commerce builds that prioritize clean checkout, lean templates, and scalable architecture. Performance treated as a feature, not an afterthought.

  • Custom checkout flows
  • Product schema and rich snippets
  • Lean plugin stack
  • Payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal)

04 / LEARNING

Learning platforms.

LMS sites for course creators and education businesses. Built to onboard students, not page builders. Same standards as the rest of the studio's work.

  • LearnDash or Tutor LMS integration
  • Custom student onboarding
  • Course schema for AI discovery
  • Subscription and drip content support

05 / APPS

Web applications.

Purpose-built web applications for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and rented software. Owned outright, cheap to run, built to last.

  • Custom tools and dashboards
  • Client-owned codebases
  • Lean, low-cost infrastructure
  • ÉCLAB and Swaralaya Studio built this way

How we build

Four principles, applied to every build.

Not a methodology slide. Working positions that show up in the code, the page weight, and the way a site holds up six months after launch.

01 / FOUNDATIONS

Custom foundations.

Every project gets its own foundation: a custom child theme on WordPress, hand-coded components on Astro. No template flips, no marketplace themes dressed up with CSS.

02 / SECTIONS

Hand-coded sections.

Where pixels matter, we write HTML and CSS directly, not drag-and-drop builders. Builders are fine for content blocks; they're not fine for hero sections.

03 / LEAN STACK

A lean stack.

Every plugin and dependency is a performance tax and a security surface. We justify each one and keep the stack lean. Less is more.

04 / SCHEMA

Schema on day one.

Structured data, sitemap, and AI-crawler configuration ship with the site, not added in a follow-up engagement six months later.

Proof across platforms

Own brands and client work, same standard.

A flagship WordPress property, a client-owned application, and a client WordPress build. Different platforms, one discipline.

FAQ

Asked often, answered plainly.

Browse all questions
Do you use page builders or write custom code?

Both, deliberately. We use Spectra Pro for sections that benefit from a block-based system (faster builds, easier client edits after launch). We write custom HTML and CSS for hero sections, complex layouts, and anywhere pixel precision matters.

We never build with heavy drag-and-drop builders that ship megabytes of unused code to the browser.

WordPress or Astro: which will my site use?

Both are first-class builds at EVENORE, and we recommend the platform that fits the project. WordPress fits sites that need rich content editing, e-commerce, or an LMS. Astro fits sites where speed is the brand: static pages, near-zero JavaScript, and almost nothing to run. Either way the build is hand-coded to the same standard, and we'll recommend one, with reasons, after the discovery call.

How long does a build take?

A standard WordPress design project runs 8 to 10 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope, content readiness, and revision rounds. Stores and LMS projects often run 10 to 16 weeks. Each engagement gets a written timeline in the Service Agreement.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. Every site we build is editable from the WordPress dashboard: pages, blog posts, products, courses, images, and basic layouts. We hand over a short walkthrough video at launch covering the edits you'll make most often. For deeper changes, our maintenance plans cover ongoing development.

Can you migrate my existing WordPress site?

Yes. We can migrate content, posts, products, customers, and SEO settings. Migration includes URL redirects, schema preservation, and a pre-launch crawl to catch broken links. The new site is built on a temporary subdomain, tested in full, then the DNS is cut over only after your approval.
